CHRISTmas!

It is getting very near Christmas. The time we celebrate Christ's birth is a very special time each year. I get so frustrated with people who want to change it to Happy Holidays. I say Happy Holidays too, to acknowledge the season and the winter months, and to spread good cheer to others. But Christmas is and always will be Christmas. We have a Christmas Tree - not a holiday tree. The 'holiday' is CHRISTMAS. Why not call it what it is? We don't change the name of other holidays. Thanksgiving is still Thanksgiving. Easter is Easter, Good Friday is Good Friday, St Patrick's Day remains as it is designated... and on and on and on.

Please, people of the world, and especially our government and officials who make decisions that effect all of us, leave Christmas as Christmas. It's not broken, so don't try to fix it.
