Busy-ness with Busi-ness

As I am an artist, photographer, and art instructor (plus full time Mom/Grandma and wife, homemaker, house administrator, bill payer, tax preparer, house cleaner/organizer - and so many other things - you get the idea) I am super BUSY! I seldom have quiet moments. I want a hot tub but I wonder if I would even get to have a quiet moment in it. I want to read but when I begin a book I really want to read I have a child who comes in and climbs onto my lap or sits on my back for pony rides, so that giggles and laughs are the norm for the day. I want to make Scrap-pages but when I sit at the computer there are a ton of things that need to be done first and by the time I have completed all tasks at my desk I am too tired mentally to be as creative as I'd like to be.
I have many, very many, pieces of artwork that I either need to complete or to begin (thoughts rolling around in my head are striving to be heard and to get out artistically). I have been teaching so many classes this summer that I have set all of my own work aside. When I do get it out I find I must put it back away to set up for class. This summer I taught classes 7 days a week and several of those days I had 3 classes back to back. It was exhausting, exhilarating, stressful, uplifting, and it was fabulous. And it was so worth it :)
Several of my students entered artwork in the Washington County Fair. Out of 40 entries we were awarded placement in 36 or them. Awesome! I am so proud of them! I will be posting some photos in the next post :). In the meantime - I'm taking a breather LOL

ADSR Season 6 Challenges 11 through 15

Continuing through the challenges we come to challenge 11 is a recipe, challenge 12 Whatever, a week in the life of. Challenge 13 is about accidental family, Challenge 14 is My Dopplegangers. And finally Challenge 15 is My Digi Family :)

Now I wonder what Season 7 will bring....

ADSR Season 6 Challenges 8 through 10

I am trying to catch up on my posts and have decided I don't have time right now to explain each challenge and give the proper credits on the kits. But I hope to do better in the future. Right now I just need to get the pages showing so my family and friends can see them :).

Challenge 8 was about What family means. I made two pages for this challenge. Page 9 is something I inherited, again I made two pages. Page 10 is Our Family :)

ADSR Season 6 challenges 3 through 7

All of the challenges this season were, in fact, challenging. Page 3 is about something our family does for fun, page 4 is taking a trip, page 5 is my Dream Day, page 6 is a get well card, page 7 is Family Garden - I did 2 versions.

ADSR Season 6

Had a lot of fun with the challenges this season! Hope you like the pages :)

ADSR Season 5

The last of the ADSR5 season pages completed. Had a fun season and moved on to Season 6 :)

Time Out

It seems I have taken a long time out. Sometimes we just need some time off and as life has handed me some lemons, as well as some sweetness, I am busy making lemonade. I am going to attempt to add some updates and see how far I get.
